This has been our go-to Sancerre for several vintages now because we just can't find one that is a better wine for the price. Fermented in stainless steel, it has the typical fresh, bright, zesty character his Sancerres always have.
Pure lemon lime citrus, great minerality and plenty of acidity on the finish make this ideal to pair with fresh oysters or smoked salmon. Etienne Daulny is a ridiculously charming Frenchman with a youthful glee and a cheerful spirit that is totally infectious. He also happens to be a serious winemaker who takes great care crafting his elegant bottlings of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Rose of Pinot Noir. He is passionately proud of not just the great wines he makes but also the class of his appellation of Sancerre. He owns and sustainably farms 15 hectares of vines (predominantly Sauvignon Blanc vs Pinot Noir) that are spread across 50 different plots of varying soil types.
